AgrAbility

The primary focus of the Minnesota AgrAbility Project (MAP) is to assist farmers and their families to remain on the farm following an injury, illness, or life-changing accident, and to continue farming in a safe and efficient manner. AgrAbility supports family members, caretakers, and other care professionals with resources and funding options for equipment. The Minnesota AgrAbility Project has provided these services to Minnesota farmers for over 20 years.

The AgrAbility program increases the likelihood that farmers, ranchers, farm workers and their families will succeed in agricultural production. While the term "disability" often brings to mind conditions such as spinal cord injuries and amputations, AgrAbility addresses other conditions, such as arthritis, back injuries, behavioral health issues, and accident-related health conditions. The vision of AgrAbility is to provide farmers and their families with the tools needed to maintain, improve or expand their current operation, according to their wishes.

Our organization also assists farmers in transitioning assets from one generation to the next. Minnesota AgrAbility has the expertise and know-how to help save family farms, working side by side, one person at a time.
